Experience, Evidence and Applications

CKC Cares is a young organisation built on substantial professional experience across privacy, regulation, education, governance and human-centred digital change. This page distinguishes work delivered through CKC Cares from the founder experience that informs our methods, confidential or embedded contributions, and illustrative examples of how the work can be applied. Outcomes are included only where they can be supported by delivery records, participant feedback or published evidence.

CKC Cares Delivery

Programmes, assessments, workshops, training, research, products and facilitated experiences developed or delivered through CKC Cares Ventures Ltd or CKC Cares CIC.

Turning complex AI and digital risk into applied learning

Context

Learners, educators and professionals increasingly encounter AI ethics, privacy, cybersecurity, digital identity and digital wellbeing as connected issues, while much available training remains either highly technical or too abstract to support real judgement.

Contribution

The CKC Cares team has developed an applied learning pathway combining The Digital Polycrisis, guided workbooks, scenario-based activities, courses and interactive experiences. The material connects technical and regulatory understanding with identity, wellbeing, voice, professional judgement and responsible action.

Evidence status

Research GroundedPractice Informed

Participant numbers, dates, named programmes, approved feedback and measured outcomes will be added only where supplied and verified.

Applied Advisory and Learning

Not all valuable application takes the form of a long consulting engagement. CKC Cares methods and founder expertise are also used through invited advisory sessions, expert review, roundtables, panels, guest teaching, workshops and methodology embedded within wider programmes.

Expert review in live decision settings

CJ has been invited to examine real proposals and situations in pitch, review and advisory settings, offering structured feedback on risk, ethics, governance, people and implementation. These contributions demonstrate applied judgement in the room; they are not presented as long-term client transformation projects.

Strategic roundtable contribution

In small senior and specialist forums, CJ has contributed human-centred AI, privacy, governance and organisational perspectives to live discussion and decision-making. Where participation was private, the host and attendees remain confidential.

Guest teaching and framework application

Human Scaffolding and related CKC Cares concepts have informed guest teaching and professional learning on AI, digital change, identity, judgement and human capability. Institution names, learner feedback and outcomes are included only where public or approved.

Methods embedded in wider delivery

CKC Cares thinking may be incorporated into broader training, advisory or learning delivered directly, with partners or under subcontracting arrangements. In these cases, the contribution may include human-centred framing, workshop design, research, facilitated reflection or practical tools. Client and programme details are withheld where confidentiality applies. We describe our contribution, not confidential client activity or unsupported organisational outcomes.

Founder Experience Behind the Practice

Selected work undertaken through public service, education, The TLC Group and earlier professional roles. These examples explain the experience informing CKC Cares; they are not presented as CKC Cares client contracts.

Building privacy capability across a national market

Bermuda was moving from privacy awareness towards operational readiness, and organisations needed more than an explanation of the law — they needed people at different levels who could recognise responsibilities, translate requirements into daily practice and lead implementation inside their own organisations.

Through The TLC Group, Cha’Von Clarke-Joell co-developed and delivered a practical privacy-capability pathway including Certified Privacy Officer, Certified Privacy Lead and Privacy Champion learning, the Road to PIPA programme and targeted delivery for organisational leaders. The work connected legal and regulatory requirements with governance, behaviour, accountability and implementation.

This work forms part of the founder experience behind CKC Cares. It demonstrates the long-standing practice of translating complex governance requirements into human capability, a principle now extended into AI and digital transformation through Human Scaffolding. Verified participant numbers, cohorts, sectors, dates and named partners will be added where supplied.

Bringing human judgement into regulatory innovation

As Head of Policy and Engagement and later Assistant Commissioner for Innovation, AI and emerging technologies and strategic engagement at Bermuda’s privacy regulator, Cha’Von contributed to policy communication, stakeholder engagement, innovation thinking and public discussion of privacy and technological change.

This experience informs CKC Cares’ focus on meaningful human oversight, defensible judgement and governance that works in practice. This role was held within Bermuda’s privacy regulator and is not presented as a CKC Cares client contract or engagement.

Connecting regulation, education and human capability

Across teaching, professional learning, speaking and programme development, Cha’Von has worked to make privacy, AI ethics, governance and digital change understandable without stripping away their complexity. This cross-sector experience shapes CKC Cares’ use of scenarios, reflective tools, structured questioning and interactive learning.

How Our Methods Can Be Applied

These composite scenarios show how CKC Cares methods could respond to common organisational and individual challenges. They are example applications, not client case studies or claims of measured outcomes.

Illustrative Application

The Overwhelmed Technology Company

A fast-growing technology company under strain from turnover, rising stress and stretched managers might explore stress-relief practice alongside ongoing wellbeing support, and could work with E-AMP Leadership coaching for managers and structured support for smoother tool adoption. This is designed to support people and managers through a period of rapid change; it does not guarantee particular retention, morale or performance results.

Illustrative Application

A Traditional Bank Going Digital

A traditional bank moving into digital and AI-enabled services, facing internal resistance and compliance questions, could provide a structured route through AI First Aid style orientation, interactive training, and RAD-style team-alignment sessions, alongside AI ethics and governance awareness. This would explore building shared understanding and stronger internal alignment; it does not constitute compliance certification, regulatory approval or legal advice.

Illustrative Application

A University Navigating Modernisation

A university or school navigating modernisation, where staff feel stretched and engagement in online learning has dipped, might explore stress-relief and wellbeing practice for staff, interactive learning formats for students, and leadership support for administrators, alongside awareness of data-protection considerations. This could help identify where support is most needed; it does not guarantee particular engagement or learning outcomes.

Illustrative Application

Shadow AI in a Professional Services Firm

A professional-services firm noticing unauthorised or “shadow” use of AI tools across teams could work through AI ethics and governance advisory, AI First Aid style orientation, interactive compliance training and RAD-style workshops, alongside leadership coaching on policy enforcement. This is designed to support clearer AI policy and more consistent governance; it does not guarantee a fully controlled environment, data protection or particular staff-satisfaction results.

Illustrative Application

An Individual Navigating Career Change

An individual navigating a career change, feeling uncertain about direction and confidence, could work with E-AMP-style coaching on transition and goals, use the Digital Twin Self lens to consider how their professional presence reflects where they are heading, and explore interactive learning and RAD-style conversation to build familiarity with new skills and networks. This could provide a structured route through the transition; it does not guarantee a specific job outcome.

How the Work Is Grounded

CKC Cares develops original frameworks and practical tools by connecting established research, professional standards, regulation, cross-sector experience and observed human challenges. A provenance record distinguishes the recognised foundations from the specific CKC Cares contribution, intended use, evidence maturity and claim boundaries. Research grounding is not presented as independent outcome validation.

Evidence-maturity definitions

Research Grounded

The problem and design principles draw on credible research, standards or professional guidance.

Practice Informed

The work has developed through professional experience, teaching, facilitation, advisory work or applied governance.

Externally Reviewed

Defined material has been considered through a structured review process. This does not mean certification, independent evaluation or endorsement.

Pilot Tested

The approach has been used with a defined group and refined through structured feedback.

Outcome Evaluated

Stated outcomes have been measured using a defined method.

Independently Evaluated

An external organisation or evaluator designed or conducted the evaluation with appropriate independence.
